Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Lion Digital Media photography services. By booking a session, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Booking & Deposits

2.1 Securing Your Session

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking. Your session date will not be reserved until the deposit has been received.

2.2 Balance Payment

The remaining balance is due on the day of your session, before photography begins. Payment can be made via bank transfer or card.

2.3 Payment Plans

For packages over £400, payment plans may be available. Please enquire at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

3.1 Client Cancellation

If you need to cancel your session, the deposit is non-refundable. However, your deposit may be transferred to a future booking within 6 months at our discretion.

3.2 Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice at no additional charge. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit.

3.3 Photographer Cancellation

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your session (due to illness or emergency), you will be offered a full refund or priority rebooking.

4. The Session

4.1 Session Duration

Session times are approximate and may vary slightly depending on the flow of the shoot. Package times represent approximate shooting time.

4.2 Late Arrival

Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, your session time may be reduced to accommodate other bookings. No refund will be given for lost time due to late arrival.

4.3 Chaperones

You are welcome to bring one chaperone to your session. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a guest.

5. Images & Delivery

5.1 Delivery Timeline

Edited images will typically be delivered within 2-4 weeks of your session. Magazine feature images may take 4-6 weeks due to additional editing requirements.

5.2 Image Selection

The number of images included in your package represents the final edited and retouched images you will receive. Additional images may be purchased.

5.3 Retouching

All delivered images include professional editing and retouching. We aim to enhance your natural beauty while keeping images realistic and authentic.

6. Copyright & Usage

6.1 Copyright Ownership

All photographs remain the copyright of Lion Digital Media. You are granted a personal license to use your images for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6.2 Commercial Use

Images may not be used for commercial purposes without written permission and potentially additional licensing fees.

6.3 Editing Images

You may not edit, filter, crop, or alter the delivered images in any way that misrepresents the photographer's work. Minor cropping for social media is acceptable.

6.4 Portfolio Rights

By booking a session, you grant permission for images to be used in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing before your session.

7. Model Releases

7.1 Standard Release

A model release form will be provided at your session. This grants permission to use your images as outlined in section 6.4.

7.2 Anonymous Option

If you prefer your images not to be used publicly, please inform us before your session. A confidential session option is available.

8. Magazine Features

8.1 Publication

Magazine feature packages include submission to relevant publications. Publication timeline is subject to editorial scheduling, typically within 4-8 weeks of final image delivery.

8.2 Editorial Rights

Once submitted for publication, images are subject to the editorial policies of the magazine. The photographer and magazine reserve the right to select which images are published.

9. Liability

9.1 Personal Belongings

You are responsible for your personal belongings during your session. Lion Digital Media is not liable for loss or damage to personal items.

9.2 Results

While we strive to deliver exceptional images, we cannot guarantee specific results. Photography is an artistic service and outcomes may vary.

10. Disputes

Any disputes arising from these terms will be governed by English law. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before taking further action.

11. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The terms in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your session.
